GRAND JUNCTION, CO – Even without the pandemic and lockdowns and the economy careening towards disaster, 2020 was already going to be historic because of Tuesday, November 3, 2020. We have the ultimate public referendum on the Trump administration, of course, but also the many and varied down-ballet contests across the country.
Scott Beilfuss, volunteer and activist, Grand Junction resident and vice-chair of the Mesa County Democrats, is one of those candidates running for hotly contested local and state seats — in his case, to represent Colorado House District 55, which includes big swaths of Grand Junction, Orchard Mesa, and Clifton. Beilfuss has worked tirelessly on behalf of working class and low-income families and workers, and has been especially passionate about expanding healthcare access.
